For over 50 years Washington County has been my home. I and my wife, Kathy, were born and raised here and our three children all graduated from Williamsport High. For 36 years I served in our public schools first as a teacher, baseball, soccer, and football coach then for 23 years as an administrator.
We chose Washington county as our home because of the quality of life and the quality of the people, the amazing businesses that have always been a part of our community, and for the diversity of the landscape. I have had a lifelong love of the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, swimming, biking and hiking in my free time.
Central to who I am is my Christian faith. Kathy and I belong to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church where she is the organist.
Believing that my life experiences will serve me well as a county commissioner, I will be on the ballot in the general election in November–and I need your help. Your insight, opinions, and knowledge are invaluable and I will listen carefully to you, believing that all of us can achieve more than any of us.
I hope you will take an opportunity to learn more about my campaign and vote for me, Bill McKinley, on November 6, 2018. Thank you.
